Flexible office provider Orega has acknowledged the important role commercial property agents play in the serviced office sector by appointing Rupert Spice to the newly created position of commercial development manager.
Rupert will be Orega’s single point of contact in all its lead-generating dealings with commercial property agents across the UK. He will be responsible for developing relationships with those agents and act as the interface for any enquiries that they generate for space at Orega’s growing number of business centres.
Rupert has over 12 years’ experience of the commercial property market working with both agents and landlords in a number of businesses, latterly with Sunley Plc.
Commenting on the importance of this new role, Zach Douglas, joint managing director of Orega, says: “We have noticed an increase in agent-led deals in the serviced and semi-serviced office market in recent years, and we are growing closer to the professional property agency community who seek office space on behalf of their clients. We need to ensure that we are maximising all opportunities that arise from the agency world by providing a stronger focal point through Rupert in our ongoing efforts to make Orega a better and easier business to transact with.”
